Karmacarons was founded serendipitously in 2016 in Lafayette, LA by two motivated women from opposite coasts. Madisen Gill of San Francisco CA, and Kristina Ostrom of Ringwood, NJ met in Lafayette, LA, where they were both living and working at a grocery store. The accumulated desire for high quality, cruelty-free deserts led them to begin the journey of mastering their first vegan French macaron. What was a fun hobby quickly turned into a business when local artists and vendors encouraged them to make custom orders and vend private events. With an abounding support from beloved and talented friends and family,
Karmacarons was born.
Karmacarons is based on the foundation of producing the highest quality vegan and gluten-free french macarons and meringue based treats. We are dedicated to using the highest quality local and organic ingredients in our small batch, hand crafted confections, with intentions for individuals of all dietary backgrounds to enjoy, one in the same.
